About this sermon
Paul speaks wisdom among the mature — not the wisdom of this age or of its rulers, but a hidden wisdom God ordained before the world and revealed by his Spirit. The hour follows that argument to its close: what God has prepared lies beyond eye, ear, and imagination, and is known only because the Spirit searches the deep things of God.
