About this sermon
Paul asks the Corinthians what they have that they did not receive, then sets their sense of having arrived against the actual conditions of apostolic life — hunger, homelessness, beatings, blessing returned for reviling. The Saturday program works the passage line by line, including the sting in his ironic remark that they have reigned as kings without him.
