About this sermon
Mercy is the beatitude whose promise loops back on the one who hears it: the merciful obtain mercy.
This study asks who the merciful actually are, what mercy looks like when extending it costs something, and how Jesus' wording unsettles anyone hoping to receive more of it than they are willing to give. Part of the Bible Talks walk through the Beatitudes on Saturday mornings.
