About this sermon
Second Kings carries Israel and Judah from Elijah's departure to the fall of Samaria and then of Jerusalem — prophets confronting kings, reforms that hold for a generation, and a long slide toward exile. This program surveys that arc and the verdict the book repeats over almost every reign: whether a king did what was right in the sight of the Lord.
