About this sermon
Joshua takes Israel across the Jordan and into the land promised to Abraham — Jericho, a defeat at Ai traced back to one man's theft, campaigns north and south, and then the long work of dividing an inheritance among the tribes. This survey ends where the book does, with an old leader gathering the nation and putting a choice to it: choose this day whom you will serve.
