About this sermon
Nehemiah hears that Jerusalem's wall is still rubble and asks a Persian king for leave to go fix it. What follows is one of the Bible's most practical books — surveying by night, assigning families to their own sections, handling opposition and ridicule, sorting out debt among his own people — and then a public reading of the law that rebuilds considerably more than masonry.
