About this sermon
Sixty-six chapters that swing from courtroom indictment to some of the most quoted comfort in Scripture. Isaiah sees the Lord high and lifted up, warns Judah about the alliances it keeps making, and turns eventually toward a servant wounded for the transgressions of others. No Old Testament book is cited more often by the New Testament writers, which makes a single-episode overview mostly a question of what to leave out.
