About this sermon
Micah preached to farming villages and to the capital at the same time, and the book moves between courtroom indictment and unexpected promise. Corrupt judges, prophets for hire, and land seized from families sit alongside the line about a ruler coming out of Bethlehem. Its best-known verse asks something a congregation can still answer plainly: do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God.
