About this sermon
Proverbs is at its most practical across these two chapters - weights and balances, a word to a neighbor, generosity that somehow leaves a person with more, work that produces and talk that does not. This study spans the close of Proverbs 11 into the opening of 12, reading them as instruction for ordinary weekday decisions rather than for unusual moments.
