About this sermon
Proverbs 10 begins the long collection of paired sayings, and the pairs land hard: treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death. This first part works through the chapter's opening verses and the claim the title carries - that righteousness holds a permanence wealth never acquires, and that the difference shows up in ordinary conduct long before it shows up at the end.
