About this sermon
Scripture repeatedly describes God as grieved — at the generation before the flood, at a people who would not listen, at prophet after prophet sent and ignored. Taking that language seriously raises an uncomfortable question about what human choices actually cost. An unusual angle for a Saturday morning: not our discouragement with God, but the reverse.
