Being Disciples of Jesus (Part 3)

With school starting back, Chris Kramer frames the doctrine of Christ as a teacher's lesson plan — one that does not change with the century, or because someone claims a new message from God last night. Working from John 8:31 and Nick Greenman's reading of John 12:47-50, the two argue that gospel and doctrine cannot be pulled apart, that the apostles' words carry Christ's own authority, and that being told what to do is compliance, not discipleship.
