Being Disciples of Jesus (Part 4)

Part four turns the series over to its harder side: Jesus in Mark 8 telling the crowd to deny themselves, take up the cross, and follow. The conversation settles on self-made religion — Colossians 2's "do not touch, do not taste," a man who wanted to fast only to see whether he could, and Peter rebuked for minding the things of men rather than of God. It ends on self-denial as a lifestyle rather than a season, and on making God the center of a life rather than merely first in it.
