Bible Study

Paul opens the letter by telling a new congregation that word of their faith had already travelled well beyond their own region. This verse-by-verse study of 1 Thessalonians 1 traces how that came about — turning from idols to serve the living God, the work of faith and labour of love, the waiting for a Son from heaven — and what a church's reputation is actually made out of.
