In Him There Is No Sin

One of the harder paragraphs in the letter: whoever sins is of the devil, and whoever is born of God does not sin. The Sunday study works through 1 John 3:4-9 at a deliberate pace, asking what John means by sin as lawlessness and how his language about God's seed abiding squares with the confession of sin he called for two chapters earlier.
