About this sermon
Chosen race, royal priesthood, holy nation, a people for his own possession — Peter stacks the titles of Israel onto a scattered group of ordinary believers. The lesson stays with what that language claims and where it lands, in the line about those who once had received no mercy and now have.
The Sunday-evening study continues verse by verse through the letters of Peter.
