About this sermon
The argument here runs through history: angels who sinned, the world of the ungodly in Noah's day, Sodom and Gomorrah turned to ashes — and in each case, someone delivered out of the middle of it. The lesson follows that pattern to Peter's conclusion, that the Lord knows how to rescue the godly and reserve the unjust for judgment, and what it implies for teachers who deny him.
