About this sermon
Paul calls himself less than the least of all the saints and then describes a commission of staggering scope: to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ and to bring to light a plan hidden for ages. The striking claim in these verses is that the church itself is how God's manifold wisdom gets displayed - his eternal purpose, accomplished in Christ. Paul asks his readers not to lose heart over his imprisonment.
