About this sermon
Peter writes to believers who are doing good and suffering for it anyway, and the passage asks what that life requires of them. It moves from the ordinary case, where zeal for good rarely draws harm, to the harder one where it does, and then to the readiness to answer anyone who asks about the hope a Christian holds.
