About this sermon
The mystery in these verses is not a puzzle to be solved but an announcement: something hidden in previous generations and now made known by revelation. What was disclosed is that Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, sharers in the same promise. In a first-century world organized around that very division it was seismic, and Paul treats his part in it as a gift rather than a credential.
