About this sermon
The closing poem of Proverbs 31 is one of the best-known portraits in the Old Testament and one of the most frequently flattened. The second half of this study walks the portrait as written — work, trade, household, speech, reputation — and asks what the chapter is actually commending, rather than what later custom has made of it.
Nick Greenman of the Christian Home Church of Christ in Morgantown, KY co-hosts.
