If grace is irresistible, what is left for a person to do? The main text is 2 Timothy 2:19-21, where the same verses that say the Lord knows who are His also tell everyone naming that name to depart from iniquity and become a vessel for honor. Joshua's "choose this day," Peter at Pentecost and Deuteronomy 30 follow, offered as evidence that free will is part of God's design rather than a limit on it.
