Calvinism gets a series of its own because, as Chris Kramer sees it, its assumptions keep resurfacing under other names — neo-Calvinism, soft Calvinism, reformed theology — often borrowed by preachers who would argue against the doctrine itself. Nick Greenman places John Calvin among the reformers and warns that a word like sovereignty means one thing in a Calvinist's mouth and another in Scripture, which is why the series will spend so much time defining terms. It closes by naming the five points to be taken up one at a time.
